Pellow & Hill Funerals

Two respected Hamilton funeral homes became one brand with a new purpose-built facility. The website introduced the name, united the two locations, and brought transparent pricing and a casket catalogue to families for the first time.

The situation

Two names, one new chapter

Pellow & Hill is the coming together of Pellows Funerals and James R Hill, two long-standing names in Hamilton funeral care, each with its own history and loyal community. Merging gave families greater choice, two locations and a warm, purpose-built new venue. It also meant introducing a new name to a city that knew the old ones.

Project goals included:

  • Introduce the Pellow & Hill name with clarity and warmth
  • Explain the benefit of two locations and the flexibility that brings
  • Show the new facility and modern offerings
  • Make the site approachable, easy to navigate and inclusive
  • Support the launch with content and storytelling

What changed

A new brand families understood on day one

The site launched with the merger and carried the story: two histories, one team, a new home. Pricing is published, options are visible, and the team updates services and notices themselves. In 2026 the website won an international web award, recognition that the care behind it shows on screen.

No pressure. Just a clear next step.
